Title: I have a heavy heart and need prayers, I am going to a funeral Sat

One of my best friends I have known for years, since grade school was driving upstate on the Thruway with his wife and upstate there are a lot of deer crossing and at night even with headlights they are not really that great when it is pitch dark out, a deer came out of no where, and he tried to stear the car out the way of the deer and lost control of the wheel and smacked hood first on Monday morning into some trees. Also the roads were slippery cause it was between melting ice and rain. The wife survived with a few broken bones, but he didn't the impact was so severe that caused massive head injuries he was turning into a vegetable, his brain was dead no function at all and was breathing on a machine. The doctors said there is zero beyond zero to do anything in fact that was his status forever. And the family with a heavy heavy heart asked that they remove the breathing and he passed. i have known him since 3rd, 4th grade. So many years. :'(

Thank you eb, he was more then just close, he leaves behind 2 young children. And one of them is my Godchild. I want my mother to go by my sisters so I can go upstate to see his family. We use to play on the same little league team. Same grade so he is my age 33. Very young.

I am going to pray for you to gain strength in your time of need.
I am also going to say a prayer for your friend and his family, may they be blessed.

I know that I am relatively new to posting here, but I do know that you have a strong group of supporters here at jtf.

I am so very deeply sorry to hear of this horrific tragedy.My deepest and sincerest condolences goes out to his immediate family and relatives and of course to you. I will of course also earnestly pray for his wife and children and the rest of his family and loved ones who are grieving. As you already know he is in a far better place right now than any of us are here on this physical earth.I am sure you are aware that each one of us here on this great forum are your fellow brothers and sisters and are here to support you and enable you to get through this tragic loss.
