Title: Tancredo will officially enter the 2008 presidential race on Monday

I believe that illegal immigration will be the biggest issue (besides terrorism/Iraq) in the GOP primaries next year. Tancredo founded the House Immigration Reform Caucus. This group of Congressmen played a major role in stopping Bush's treasonous illegal amnesty scam of 2006. Currently, there are no other Republicans that can come close to having Tancredo's credentials when it comes to dealing with the illegal immigration problem.

GOOD!

I still doubt that even HE is a really that great of a candidate...but he's better than Guiliani and Mitt Romney.

I honestly think he has a chance to win the nomination. The 2008 election will contain many surprises. The GOP voting base is PISSED off at the "establishment" Republicans (like Bush,McCain,Guiliani) and anything can happen....

The first time I heard of Tancredo was when he gave a speech on immigration reform and the dissolution of American culture on CSPAN back in the early 2000s. At the time, there was nobody in the room and he was speaking to an empty Congress. But he just kept talking anyway...even though nobody was listening. I thought to myself, "Wow, this guy is the lone ranger of immigration reform."

I agree...and I don't think that you're being melodramatic...he really is our last hope.

I am voting for Duncan Hunter, a native Californian and a true God-fearing humble Christian conservative. Unlike Tancredo, he has nothing to do with the Nazi Buchanans.
