Dear JTFers,
Please resist and boycott the evil model/actress Michelle Nunes, yimach schma vezichra--may the name of the wicked rot. In case you do not know who this person is, she is the actress featured on the current BlackBerry Storm cellphone commercials (she repeatedly touches the inside of the TV screen with the tip of her finger, causing new things to come out of it each time). Normally I would post a link, or at least a pic, of the evil person I am denouncing, but in this case I am not, intentionally. She is unfortunately very beautiful, and has used all of this gift for wicked purposes. Please do not look her up on your own; it is not worth it. A very quick Google search will turn up several borderline pornographic pics of her (I am certain that actual porn of her does exist, but I did not look for it). Women like Nunes are IEDs for mens' (and a few womens') souls. I frankly do not care what her political views are, or even what her view on Israel is (though we can be sure it is not good). I wouldn't care if she donated 100% of her earnings to JTF. Her actions show that she is a venomous menace to society--a true black mamba of a woman.
I urge you all to boycott any program or form of media that features this disgusting harlot, and also to contact Research in Motion, Ltd. (the parent company of BlackBerry) and register your displeasure at the use of this vile sleazeball as an official spokesmodel. They are headquartered in Ontario, Canada. This is the official phone number for the main office:

this is pathetic. What next, a curse on a kid that made fun of you in middle school?
-
If you want to look at porno that she is featured in, go right on ahead. More power to you.
-
Serb,
All due respect.
If you wouldn't post about her or other women that you deem to be immoral; the majority of JTF members would not even know and/or care about them.
In actuality, you are actually doing the opposite of your intention.
By you posting about these women, you are drawing peoples' attention to them.
Just food for thought.....
-
What else is she famous for err besides filthing herself?

In this case I think it is worthwhile to complain about her to BlackBerry corporate headquarters. Do they really want their flagship product line to be associated with a porn actress?

its interesting that you're constantly looking up various women on the internet just so you can complain about them here
-
Serb,
In that case, you would be spending at least half a day every day complaining to corporations about different women that you find offensive, because, this is the culture and society that we live in.
There are dozens upon dozens of commercials, advertisements, spokeswomen, and spokesmodels representing products and/or corporate images; in which the women are less than moral.
And, there is a greater issue here that you are ignoring, and that is, SEX SELLS--AND THAT EQUALS DOLLARS.
Corporations care about the bottom line, and the bottom line is dollars and/or profit; corporations could care less about the moral standings of the women representing their images.
So, this is really a dead issue and you are wasting your time, intellect, and aggravation.
The best way to combat this situation is to not focus any attention on this garbage; and that is in your control.
You are not going to change this aspect of our present culture by posting and drawing attention to these women.
-
Serb,
If you really think about it, you could find immoral women everywhere in our culture.
Inclusive of commercials, movies, TV, advertisements, and the list could go on forever.
I think that your time, energy, and intellect is much more affective ignoring all this trash; allowing you to concentrate on more important and/or life affecting issues.
-
ag, of course the corporations don't care, it's just that heavy public pressure might compel them to change their minds if only for the sake of profits.
t_h_j, if you weren't an ignoramus and paid attention you would see I did not go seeking her out--she is all over TV on those stupid BlackBerry commercials.

most people don't google random women from tv commercials.

I make posts about this maybe once a month or once every other month. Immoral-whore threads probably are about 1/25th of my JTF output these days.

most people don't google random women from tv commercials.
Do you try to be stupid or does it come naturally to you?
I didn't go out to seek out immoral skanky women, that stupid commercial is just all over TV right now and I wanted to know who plays that girl (who actually looks wholesome in that role). I didn't expect to get the filth that I did when I looked her up. I'm just telling all the male JTFers, don't bother looking that model up. Since you don't agree with that, go on ahead and imbibe porn to your heart's content. It's not my soul.

Serb,
You have a valid point, but do you realize what kind of grand scale the public pressure would have to be to cause change?
If would have to be a Worldwide outrage to affect real change; because Blackberry is a product used all over the World.
So, posting on JTF is not going to affect this corporation by any means.
-
Perhaps not but it never hurts to try. Who knows what a few angry, indignant calls and emails from a determined few might do. Sometimes we have to just do what is right, and trust Hashem with the rest. If the campaign fails, it fails, but it was worth a shot.

I understand what you are saying about your posts and I appreciate your cutting back on these types of posts, but trust me when I say the men on JTF could care less about these women and in the majority would never even know about these women, if you hadn't drawn their attention to them.
-
Brother there are much more important things than her. :o
-
People don't need to join this campaign if they don't want to, I'm just putting it out there.
-
Serb,
I've got an idea.
Why not post about women who are helping our cause or even righteous women that members at JTF could support?
How about women who are brave enough to stand up for what they believe in and are actually making a difference in our World making a tangible difference causing a positive affect vs a negative one?

Hmmm. There aren't a whole lot of righteous female celebrities, or righteous celebrities period. Maybe I could post about the Camerons (Kirk and Chelsea from the show Family Ties), who are very devout conservative Christians.
Edit, I meant Growing Pains...

There you go, good example.
But, why limit yourself to celebrities?
How about heroic women who stand up for what they believe in with moral convictions?
-
Serb,
The time that you used to look up information about this woman and the corporation she is working for could have been used to research heroic women both past and present.

By the way, your reply is so true.
Their much more important issues to pursue.
I agree with you 100%.
You are spot on in regards to this issue.

Well, I can't go "outing" individual women I know in my own life who are not celebrities. For instance, my best friend is a very righteous woman but I can't like put up a thread about her with her pic and name.

Looking forward to chatting with you tomorrow.

But, you could post about your friend without stating her name and/or information.
You could post about her righteousness and the positive things she is involved in.
It is not necessary to post her name and/or picture.
And, you don't need to "out" her, just post about her righteousness and the accomplishments that she has succeeded in.
-
Serb,
Think about it and I believe you will be much happier.
Anyways, I am going to sleep.
Feel free anytime if you want to chat with me or pm to let out some of your aggravation.
I hope that you have a goodnight.
-
Hmmm. Not sure I would be comfortable doing that. I don't want details about her being public record even anonymously. I get your point though. It might be better for me just to find examples of righteous, or at least not evil, celebs and post about them. One starlet that so far impresses me is Selena Gomez, who is sometimes called the Hispanic counterpart to Vanessa Hudgens (an uber-evil tramp).
-
SerbAvenger, I have never heard of her before and once I finished reading your post, the first thing I did was to google her and indeed her swimsuit pictures are right at the top result.
-
Has anyone noticed that "Google" is so like the word "Ogle"? :)
-

riight, of course. I guess you googled vanessa hudgens too because you knew she was a great role model.

Serb, I don't think being a (good looking) brainless bimbo posing in skimpy bikinis warrants the yimach schma curse. At that rate, you're also going to end up cursing all the models that appear in the Sport Illustrated Swimsuit issue or the Victoria's Secret catalogs.
Now you're right that posing in skimpy bikinis for money is not a moral thing to do.
But the fact is, men are visual creatures. (If I had a dime for every time a straight man told me that, I'd be rich.) They are made to respond to taught youthful women with normal waist/hip ratios, and symmetrical features, as they're indicators of fertility, good health, and good genes.
Also, part of the female sex drive includes preening and showing off what they have. Almost every single woman does it, to some degree or other. In fact, I was once at a Jewish event where a rabbi was giving a speech. This rabbi was joined by his wife and their small baby. The wife wore a long sleeved top, covered her hair and had a long skirt on. However, the top was SKIN tight. It was so tight that you could see every single curve and bulge on her torso.
Another time, I was at my parents Synagogue during Yom Kippur. There I saw a young woman who had on the same type of outfit -- long sleeved top and long denim skirt. This girl's hair was uncovered. But her top was skin tight. Again, you could see every single curve and bulge in her torso.
Personally I have trouble believing these women couldn't afford properly fitting tops.
Anyway, most women do this, to some degree or other. But the civilizing influence is religion which discourages men from randomly impregnating females for the fun of it.

Lisa, you have a point BUT the pics that Nunes was featured in went beyond simple bikini pics. They were extremely seductive and several of them were topless (she was at an angle that barely concealed the front of her breasts). I am sure she has done actual porn, but of course did not go looking for it.
She was actually making very sexual poses rather than just posing. Regular bikini girls aren't my cup of tea but in and of themselves they don't bother me much. Nunes goes further than that. That is why I think she warrants the y-s.
Now you're right that posing in skimpy bikinis for money is not a moral thing to do.
Yes, but what she did goes beyond that.

You hit the nail on the head. I said that immoral, whoring women who happen to be attractive are IEDs for a man's soul, and it is true. In the commercials Nunes looks extremely clean and is dressed appropriately. Yeah it was my fault for looking her up that I saw what I did, but it's still no excuse on her part. I'm not alone in these sentiments; Muman has posted these thoughts too.
There are also a few women who struggle with same-sex attraction who are likewise badly damaged by women like Nunes as well. People who are fighting homosexual urges with all of their might deserve our support, and not for immoral people to tear them down.
Also, part of the female sex drive includes preening and showing off what they have.
I think this is socially created to a large degree.

Blech. Disgusting. Judaism frowns on this every bit as much as Christianity does if not more. I can't believe that this was allowed to happen. Was this a real rabbi with smicha or a Deformed/Liberal "rabbi"?
Another time, I was at my parents Synagogue during Yom Kippur. There I saw a young woman who had on the same type of outfit -- long sleeved top and long denim skirt. This girl's hair was uncovered. But her top was skin tight. Again, you could see every single curve and bulge in her torso.
It's too bad that whatever the equivalent of ushers are for shuls did not escort this harlot out of the service pronto. If I were you I would have complained directly to the rabbi and rebbetzin.
Personally I have trouble believing these women couldn't afford properly fitting tops.
Well, duh.
Anyway, most women do this, to some degree or other. But the civilizing influence is religion which discourages men from randomly impregnating females for the fun of it.
The difference between immoral women of today and those of the past, or even your generation, is the ruthlessness they exhibit. People have always known who the skanks are, but in the past they were far less prominent in society, and their whoring was not publicly and proudly displayed. It was kept behind closed doors. Nowadays whore actresses and models flaunt their sewage directly on television, magazines, and the internet.
The other BIG difference is that the immoral women of your time at least were not perverted. Nowadays the floozies all sleep with women as well as men AND brag about it. They do this not only because they themselves are depraved, but because they want to sell the "girl-on-girl" chic that is unfortunately so huge today. They know that meathead men will flock to their movies and buy their CDs more if they engage in lesbian behavior.
-
I guess I'll say what others are thinking. Who cares about random celebrities?
-
I think it's pointless to obsess and get angry over ANY woman that's flaunting herself or posing suggestively when it's all around us. The notion of women as sexual objects is all too real and it is reinforced by popular culture and society in general. Images of women's partly clothed or naked bodies are prevalent in television and espiecially in advertising. It's a reflection of the way we think, the way we behave and our needs. This is not something that's going to change anytime soon and complaining about it and insulting those women who do it is completely pointless.

I do think it is good to remind women that what they wear should be modest and not provocative. It will not change overnight but as long as they know that real men desire women who are modest that will start the change.

Oh i just looked her up she is an evil woman here is a tape http://michelle-nunes.com/index.html

Serb,
As I stated earlier this morning in my replies, you are focusing your energy in the wrong place and inturn actually defeating your actual purpose of your thread.
Now, JTF members who never cared or had any idea about this woman are looking her up.
And, Lisa made virtually the same point that I did about women in our media and culture.
You would be posting about immoral women for at least eight hours a day everyday and you would never finish to get them all, because our society and culture are over saturated with them.
Another point, the yimach schma curse is inappropriate in cases such as this one.
This curse is not something to be used lightly and it is taken very seriously.
Why not use the curse on people like Ahmedinajad, Bin Laden, and other really evil people?
As I suggested to you earlier today, transfer the energy that you put into this useless rubbish into posts about real women who make a difference that people respect and can support.
I received your pm when I woke up and will be sending you an answering pm later on today.
OK?

Serb Avenger should be quite aware of when this curse should be used. This topic has been much discussed in the last year that I have been active in JTF...
