If it were the religious sensitivities and the way of life of Muslims that were being offended, rather than those of mere Scottish Islanders in their own country, this story and its outcome would be different. Again, the EEC makes a fool of itself, this time with so-called equality laws which trample over the traditions of responsible people established over centuries.
