That really is funny. Hess was a nut... He was quite neurotic. The allies used him to taunt and embarrass Hisler but they really had no use for Hess in the least. They tossed him into Spandau prison with the rest of the degenerate Nazi's when the war was over and he was the last to die there. It is believed that he was killed so the prison could finally be closed and torn down since he was the last prisoner in residence. That monument is either a made up joke or put up by some very sick people.
