This whole exercise in Afghanistan is such a complete waste. It's just to keep the defense contractors and military well fed. There's no way we'll be able to win anything there, there's nothing there for us. Just another useless endless war to fill American body bags and keep the contractor's management rich.

"This whole exercise in Afghanistan is such a complete waste." Yes, I have a bad feeling about AfPak. Not only will we likely not come to grips over there and just waste a lot of lives, but we may well leave a militant muslim regime in charge of Pakistan's nukes.
It was genuinely ironic that Drudge today linked to a piece from a respected newspaper that at last has the ball$ to ask a pertinent question: Are we witnessing the birth of Lyndon Baines Obama?
