I read on their official website of HARIBO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haribo terrible things.

What type of gelatin does Haribo use?
Haribo products produced in Haribo's factory in Turkey are made with beef gelatin and are certified HALAL. All other items are made with pork gelatin.

ONLY Haribo products that are manufactured in our factory in Turkey are halal. You can find the country of origin on the back of all our packages.

The fact that it is Halal? They also make candies which are Kosher @ http://www.paskesz.com/ .
Some of those Kosher candies look very good...
A good amount of products on the supermarket shelves in my town are certified Kosher with the OU Heksher...

I think PEZ is made by PEZ the candy is made here in the USA the dispensers however may come from other countries.

Because Haribo products produced in Haribo's factory in Turkey are made with beef gelatin and are certified HALAL. And the fact they are made in an islamic country is a reason not to support them. Of course our Christrian bears are made in Christian countries.

Maybe made in Turkgay but not from Turkgay. Mercedes is a German car. Renault is from France.

I don't think that anything called Speise Quark has a bright selling future in American supermarkets. :yuck: :laugh:

That packaging would do it. Americans love a nice picture on the package :) I looked up what Quark is and it would be a big seller because people here love that sort of Cheese. I am not big on cheese so it may even be sold in my store but I would never see it.

We also have a GAZAI Market. I was there a few weeks ago with my JDL T-Shirt. I was in every corridore. It was an very islamic supermarket where I wasn't really welcome. Some people looked at me like they wanted to say "I will kick your [censored] out of here". ;D
Of course I didn't buy anything! I don't support Islamic products! But I was a provocation to some Muslims in there.

Sorry, but then you can't buy ANYTHING. any clothes labelled "Made in Italy" are produced in Turkey. Volkswagen and many other German and Western firms actually produce in Turkey in order to make these products available there in a low income also. But you can only do so by producing it there! It is a country of 70 million and thus a non-neglectible market for most firms.
You can HARDLY find out where many things come from. An orange juice producer may use also fruits from Turkey.
Haribo produces in Turkey also. So what? If it was a Turkish firm - then I would boycott them. Would you want to get out which firms are trading with Muslim countries? Then you should boycott MOST German firms, since our economy is very exportation orientated!
