Interior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Eli Yishai addressed the recent clashes in the capital and said, "The State of Israel is sovereign in Jerusalem and no force will restrict it in the Jewish people's eternal united capital."
Minister Yishai further added, "The anti-Jewish incitement in Israel and outside it is powerless to undermine the Jewish people's connection to its capital and the need to fortify Jerusalem." (Roni Sofer)
