Title: Prayers for Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu

(IsraelNN.com) A special prayer session was held during which worshippers called for the speedy recovery of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu. Rabbi Eliyahu is currently in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit of Jerusalem's Shaarei Tzedek hospital.

The public has been asked to pray for Rabbi Mordechai Tzemach ben Mazal Tov

He collapsed in his home a few days ago. He has been in and out of the Hospital for the last 2 years.

Having known Rabbi Kahane, the answer is that he was totally immersed in Torah. All of his thoughts and time devoted to Torah, and the rest of his activities and strenght derived from this"

I have been lifting the Rabbi up in prayer. Does anyone here have an update on his condition?

He was the chief Sefardic Rabbi of Israel from 1983 to 1993. He was also a friend of Rabbi Meir Kahane. Here's a picture of him officiating at the wedding of Rabbi Binyamin Kahane.
