Yes, I read about that a while ago.  I also read that he has some Jewish ancestry.

I am not so good at guessing this sort of things.

But anyway It's good Mr Wilders didn't acquire from the Kibbutz the appeasement and self destruction spirit that has plagued them for the past 30 years.

I made a mistake... I realize that they are not the same person... But I just learned that Gene Wilder was born as "Jerome Silberman" and changed his name to Gene Wilder... I was trying to make the comparison that they both have similar last names, therefore maybe Geert is Jewish... I was wrong...
