JTF Chairman Chaim Ben Pesach Exposes Modern Day Croat Nazism & Croat Nazi Band "Thompson"
JTF Chairman Chaim Ben Pesach Exposes Modern Day Croat Nazism [Ustashe] & Croat Nazi Band "Thompson"
JTF Chairman Chaim Ben Pesach exposes the phenomenon of Nazism, antisemitism, Holocaust Denial & Serb-hatred in today's Croatia...
In modern Croatia, streets, public squares, cafes & restaurants are re-named after infamous Ustasha Nazi mass murderers from WW2...
In Croatia's capital of Zagreb, performances by a Croat Nazi band called 'Thompson' attract over 100,000 Croats...
Tens Of Thousands of Croats shout "Kill, Kill, Kill A Serb!" while simultaneously giving the stiff-armed Sieg Heil Nazi salute...

Chaim doesn't speak Croatian. What he knows about Thompson is limited to what Serbs with an anti-Croat agenda told him. To prove the Thompson controversy was blown way out of proportion, here is his most popular song: https://youtu.be/Dbmy_oSdJyE
It praises the beauty of Croatian regions. Note there are no Nazi symbols in the video.
The original Croatian text, followed by my English translation:
Kad se sjetim suza krene
Zamirišu uspomene
Svake stope rodnog kraja
I narodnih običaja
Prepoznah ljepotu tvoju
Što probudi ljubav moju
Kad sam s tobom srce moje
Kuca jače, veliko je
Oj Zagoro, lijepa li si
Slavonijo, zlatna ti si
Herceg Bosno, srce ponosno
Dalmacijo, more moje
Jedna duša a nas dvoje
Pozdrav Liko, velebita diko
Lijepa li si
Kad Neretva moru krene
Ti se tada sjeti mene
Mojoj pjesmi budi tema
Za sve one kojih nema
Ajde Istro i Zagorje
Podignimo sve tri boje
Zagrlimo se pred svima
Neka vide da nas ima
When I remember a tear starts
Memories spread a pleasant smell
Of every foot of native countryside
And folk customs
I recognized your beauty
Which aroused my love
When I am with you my heart
Beats stronger, it's big
Hey Zagora, beautiful you are
Slavonia, golden you are
Herzeg-Bosnia, a proud heart
Dalmatia, my sea
One soul, but we are two
Greetings Lika, the glory of Velebit
Beautiful you are
When Neretva moves to the sea
You then remember me
Be the theme to my song
For all those who are gone
Come on Istria and Zagorje
Let's lift all three colors
Let's hug before everyone
Let them see we are here

Was there widespread opposition to fascism in Croatia from the beginning of WW2 like there was against Mussolini with the partisans who hid in the mountains and rural areas of italy? I do recall reading that there were some partisans in Croatia against the Nazis but what was the extent?. I'm open for the facts. If so is there any evidence of this?

Maybe this could help.

One of the central squares in Zagreb is Square of the Victims of Fascism. Anti-Fascist Struggle Day is a national holiday in Croatia. Three of my family members were killed in Jasenovac as Croatian antifascists. The fourth joined the partisans and the Serbs killed him after the war for being a Croat.
While I celebrate the defeat of fascists, I don't celebrate the victory of partisans and their Greater Serbia despotism.
