Hard rock (though I am far from limited to that).
By "black music" do you mean negro music or dark/evil music?

Electro/Dance/Trance/Hip Hop etc
What's the problem with Black-skinned people?
-
Gentile negroes as a whole are among the lowest of all human beings. I wanted to know why you called all those styles "black music". Hip-hop, trance, dance, etc. are not really similar at all.
-
Beach Boys including Brian Wilson's solo album, Mammas and the Pappas, Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, almost anything from the 60's and early 70's. I also like Creed, believe it or not, lol. Coldplay, Nickelback. I also like country. As far as Jew music, I grew up on Mordechai ben David, Miami Boys Choir, Avram Fried. Then I listened to Yehudah. But my all-time favorite is Shlock Rock - - - my mom and Lenny go waaay back. Now I sometimes listen to Shwekey.

That's the same as saying "cheap" or "easy" music.
I don't agree, Ancient Egypt was Negorid (for example) almost always and they were one of the most influential and developed civilizations.
-
Heavy metal,progressive and 70's punk.
-
Anything thought of by good musicians.
Fusion, symphonic hardrock, musical, classical, new age, pop, pop rock.
-
I like many styles of music but rock music, especially from the 60s and 70s is probably my favorite. I also like some electronic music, classical, 80s pop music, 90s grunge, and some others. This might surprise some people but I actually am really fond of music made by the Australian aboriginal didgeridoo. It's one of the most ancient instruments on earth and I think it sounds lovely.
I don't like most country or rap.
-
Music from the 80's, Trance and Chillout, Ambient, House (which btw. is NOT black music, since techno was a German invention and has it's roots in Frankfurt), and very diverse, from Röyksopp to Jamiroquai, U2, The Prodigy, classic music, I like Édith Piaf, New Age, Alternative, the Cure,... One can really say I am into nothing speacial. I also like some good Heavy Metal and Dark Wave things... 8)

I also like MBD and the Beach Boys. When I was in Israel a few years ago, I overheard two old haredi guys in Jerusalem talking in English about the Beach Boys. A great MBD song is "am yisrael chai." I put that song in my most recent video.

This thread reminds me of when I was in a music store in Israel when I went there a few years ago, and the section with rap music was labeled "מוזיקה שחור" (black music). :::D
-
I like Heavy Metal, Blues, Acoustic, Classical and traditional music.
I have recently discovered Classical Indian Music and hope to buy some eventually.
-
Heavy metal,progressive and 70's punk.
Oh yeah I also like Outlaw country, classical and world music.

Why is country not on the list?

What do people think is the best NEW rock band out there? It's a tough question, I know. I'd say Wolfmother.

There aren't any good new rockbands. That era is over.
-
Yeah, I kind of agree. Even Wolfmother is a poor man's Led Zeppelin.
-
Love Classical, Meditation Music, Israeli Folk and Pop Music, Yaakov Shwekey, Mordechai Ben David, Ofra Haza, Moshe Giat, EFfi Netzer. . Love all middle eastern and TUrkish/Moroccan Jewish music. Y eah yeah, I am real old fashioned..
Give me some good Tchaicovsky conducted by Bernstein. Love Felix Mendelssohn, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, Vivaldi, all the legends.
Yes, I know some of the classical composers are fags, I love their music and talent, not their personal lives... Please don't go there!
DId I mention Opera!? Oh, I love Pavarotti, the Three Tenors, Andrea Bocelli, not to mention the best American opera singer ever Richard Tucker (YES A JEW).
If we can consider Cantor and Opera in the same league, I love the Moscow Male Jewish Capella.. PURE AWESOMENESS!
There are a few liberal wanker/new age singers I like for their musical talents, not their life styles: The Beatles (Paul McCartney did defy Hizbollah and play in Israel), John Denver, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Metallica (old school pre-Black album), Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Leonard Cohen, The Cure.
When I go shooting my guns, the meditation music and classical really helps me relax and concentrate, improve my grouping. Also, I have better state of mind and focus better on my exercise and my technical work (ie my job).
Check out some of the new age/traditional Indian/middle eastern/mediation music by Karunesh.. I am addicted to it. Great for giving peace to your soul. Also, love Prem Joshua's music.. The guy is a German convert to Hinduism. He also has performed to Israel and is popular there amongst some. He is an awesome musician, sorry that he sings about Hindu things sometimes, I just like the musical melodies. He is so awesome on the sitar and flute. Oh yeah, I also like Ravi Shankar a lot, a legend in the far east.
I also love:
Snoop Doggy Dog
Jay-z
2Pac
50 cent
Barack Hussein Obama (Oh I know he cannot sing, but he is my favorite singer anyway.. oh Barry, I LUV U)
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dang it, give me chinese water torture, not rap music!!!!!!!!
Add an e to the end, to the word rap, I call it Rape music, cause it rapes the musical industry as we know it.
RAP MUSIC SUCKS!!!!! SO DOES REGGAE and most other new age negro music..
No one condemn me, but I do like a few Michael Jackson songs, even though he is a mutant pedophile.

I'd like to know the same. To all those youngens out there, are there ANY new rock bands that have powerful lead vocals and strong harmonies?
