Title: Report: Gov. Won't Demolish Illegally-Built Arab Homes

The Interior Ministry and the Jerusalem Municipality have failed to implement demolition orders against hundreds of buildings illegally built by Arabs, because of failure by the relevant agencies to file paperwork properly. According to a report Sunday morning, hundreds of demolition orders issued over the past three years have "fallen through the cracks," with judges severely criticizing the Ministry and Municipality for failing to execute the law properly.

The Jerusalem Municipality said that most of the demolition orders were not its responsibility. The Interior Ministry had no comment. Several months ago, reports said that Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat had developed a plan that would retroactively legalize as many as 80% of the illegally-built dwellings.

Where is the world in condemning these real "illegal settlements"?  >:(
