"Od Kahane Chai" means "Kahane still lives." The song was written in the early 90s after Rabbi Kahane's death. The singer also says "all of Israel loved him" and "all of Israel will appoint his son." "His son" means Rabbi Binyamin Kahane who was still alive at the time. Rabbi Binyamin Kahane was murdered in 2000 or 2001.
