Title: Getting Rid of LOTS of CDs--26 CDs for $40
Post by: Lewinsky Stinks, Dr. Brennan Rocks on December 29, 2009, 10:07:43 PM
Shalom all,

I am getting rid of a large number of CDs I no longer have any use for and am selling them in bulk--for cheap. 40 dollars (not counting shipping) for 26 CDs averages out to $1.54 per CD and some of these are rare and limited production. If you love non-schvartze music and have a broad and eclectic taste range (I have everything here from grunge to heavy metal to dance to folk to teen pop), this deal might be for you. All CDs are in excellent playing condition (although some have dirty jewel cases or cosmetic minor scratches that do not affect play). Do be warned that some of these CDs are "inappropriate".

(For the Christians here, I also have a couple Christian CDs that I will throw in for another $3.)

I would be willing to consider splitting up this package, but for the sake of convenience and it being economically worthwhile, 10 CDs is the smallest number I will part with at a time. Also, they will cost more per CD if I have to split them up--for instance, for 10 CDs I will charge $2.00/CD.

Here is the full list of CDs that are available (title of artist first, then title of record)

Star 98.7 FM 2000 Acoustic Collection (compilation; includes Bon Jovi, Vertical Horizon, Third Eye Blind, Beth Hart, Fastball, Train, Robbie Williams, Leona Naess, Nine Days, Dido, Neve, Macy Gray, and Lenny Kravitz). Out of production and very rare.
Songs from Dawson's Creek (compilation; includes Sixpence None The Richer, Sophie B. Hawkins, Chantal Kreviazuk, Shooter, PJ Olsson, Wood, Nikki Hassman, Shawn Mullins, Heather Nova, Curtis Stigers, Sozzi, Adam Cohen, Jessica Simpson, and Paula Cole)
Evanescence, Fallen
Jewel, Spirit
Jewel, Pieces of You
Liz Phair, Liz Phair
Sheryl Crow, Tuesday Night Music Club
Sheryl Crow, The Globe Sessions
ICP, Tunnel of Love
Ninedays, The Madding Crowd
Natalie Imbruglia, Left of the Middle
Three Days Grace, One-X
No Doubt, Tragic Kingdom
BH Surfers, Electriclarryland
Jennifer Love Hewitt, How Do I Deal (rare and long out of production CD single, also features Jory Eve)
Stroke 9, Nasty Little Thoughts
Saliva, Back Into Your System
Vonda Shepard, By 7:30
Barenaked Ladies, Stunt
Real McCoy, Another Night
Shawn Mullins, Soul's Core
Slipknot, Slipknot (rare Japanese version extended album)
Slipknot, Iowa
Slipknot, Wait and Bleed (rare CD single, includes Wait and Bleed Terry Date Remix, Spit It Out Overcaffeinated Hyper Version, and Sic Molt-Injected Remix)
Slipknot, Spit It Out (rare CD single, includes Spit It Out album version, Surfacing Live Version, and Wait and Bleed Live)
Slipknot, My Plague (rare CD single, includes My Plague New Abuse Remix, The Heretic Anthem, and Sic Live)

Christian CDs:

Demon Hunter, Demon Hunter
Switchfoot, New Way To Be Human

If any of you are interested in these, please PM me. If you want descriptions of what some of these CDs or artists are like, please let me know also.

Now I really feel like Grandpa Muman.... I don't know a single one of those bands? Are those 2000s bands? I dropped out of listening to 'pop'ular music around the early 90s...

PS: Whew... I saw Bon Jovi in there... Don't like em, but I have heard of them...

Some of those are schvartze.
Real McCoy is a wigger who sings with a n_gger.

I would take some of those but not ten.

I listened to them when I was like 13. But I still wouldn't consider them schvartze music. They're Eurodance.

I like heavy metal, and that includes (some) horrorcore rap-metal.

I must be getting old.  Cheryl Crow is the only one I am familiar with and the Barenaked Ladies are the only other name I recall and I am sure it is only the uniqueness of that name that caught my attention.

Stunt by the BNL is a dang good adult-pop record. I hate parting with it.  :'(

It's funny because that's probably the only CD on your list I would be interested in.

You wannabe music critics are not being helpful you know. Either make the guy an offer or shaddup and read another thread. Jeez!  ???

Some good advice,

Put this offer up on ebay, you'll sell them inside of a week.  :teach:

Thank You, New Yorker.  That is exactly what I was thinking.  I think you summed that up nicely.

How about sending someone CDs if they donate to JTF?
