http://cpac.org/ is put on by the American Conservative Union. Glenn Beck just spoke at their huge event in DC.
The videos were streaming here and people are still chatting in the chat area:

Go there and promote JTF.org over and over again. It will get new people here.

Lets hope that's all that scrawny wimp wins.

I doubt Ron Paul has any more supporters than in 2008 when he lost overwelmingly in the Republican primaries. I think it's more likely that all the Ron Paul groupies decided to show up at the CPAC conference. Supposedly about half the people at the conference were students, and that's definitely the biggest demographic group among Ron Paul supporters.

I think there just as bad.

One thing the cocky / cooky/ pathetic Ron Paul supporters don't realize or conveniently are overlooking is Sarah Palin wasn't at CPAC. Hence, her passionate support base didn't have a strong presence at CPAC. If this same poll was done at the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville two weeks ago, Sarah Palin would have very likely received 45 % or more of the straw poll vote.

Yeah right. She's a sellout.

Most of the people who attended the Tea Party Convention in Nashville were very receptive to Sarah Palin.
My point is that both CPAC and the Tea Party Convention didn't provide an accurate sampling of voter preferences.

I think CPAC is more mainstream and organized in a sense. This is not who Palin appeals to. The tea party people seem to be more outside of the box anti-establishment, and anti-DC. Palin is definitely far outside the beltway while Ron Paul has been working inside of it for years. Paul's small core group is VERY organized and has the ability to infiltrate a professionally setup organization like CPAC.
They are definitely two different groups, although they both share a frustration with communism/Obama.

this is very disturbing. Buckley kicked these bigots out of the conservative movement but now with the anger at Bush and the Neocons they have found away to creep there way back in and they are scapgoating Jews by using codewords such as neocons and international bankers.
