Title: Anybody ever read "the Book of Negroes" by Lawrence Hill

I've been putting off reading it. Anybody ever read it and have anything to say?

Sounds good.
I've heard stories about how good slaves had it.
Sure there was abuse.
But there were many slaves who didn't want to be free and went back to their old masters AFTER they were set free.
