Statutory rape, a 16 year old can't consent. If he gets let off the hook, shows the courts are incompetent and corrupt, ignorance of age is not a defense regardless how much the minor presented themselves to be an adult, it is up to the adult to confirm the person is infact 18 or older.

In some states 16 is the age of consent! I'm currently living in Montana and that's how it is here
