With the way Israel fought against Hezbolla in 2006, I don't think the United States feels Israel can handle the 40,000 missles of Hezbollah, and Syria's military at the same time.  Israel damm near lost in 2006.

debka file site also wants people to feel intimidated by the thousands of missiles of syria-iran-hezbollah, the growing divide with the US, impending war, iran nukes, israeli military supposed weakness etc etc.
