Title: Insecure Jews who left Israel to live in the US

A US citizen went to Israel 10-15 years ago to serve in the IDF.  After his service was over, he went back to the US to go to school since he says his Hebrew wasn't good enough for Israels schools. 

Anytime a Jew criticizes the Israeli government, he goes off onto a rant about how only he has the right to speak about Israel since he served in the IDF. 

You think he's insecure for not having stayed in Israel after he finished his service?

A lot of Jews leave Israel to live in the US.  It's a complicated issue.  If the guy served in the Israeli army, we shouldn't be criticizing him.  It's a great accomplishment.

I meant that he believes only those Jews who have served in the IDF have the right to speak about Israel. 

Sort of like the analogy that Trumpeldor said.

If an American Jew went to Israel to join the IDF then returned to the U.S. afterwards he should be allowed to criticize.Many Israelis in Tel Aviv get out on Psych reasons or monet.Look at olmerts son

What do you mean on psych reasons? 

But should only those who serve in the IDF be allowed to comment about Israel?

This same guy also bashes Kach and would most likely bash JTF.
