Didn't those no self respect Israeli kikes read that the whole Bundestag every single party voted to condemn them for stopping the Flotilla.

In my opinion Israel should just sit out of world competition in soccer [futbol].  Every team other than the last is a major antisemite.  Germany just defeated a team which was coached by a Nazi more Nazi than the actual Nazis.  Such a bizarre world.  Who do you root for when its "Adolf Hitler" vs. "Double Adolf Hitler"? -- Since the entire world's public opinion revolves around Israel, I say Israel boycotts all, or the majority of all, world competition.  Screw the mamzers of the world [let them pound (non-Kosher) cake!]!!!

"Germany just defeated a team which was coached by a Nazi more Nazi than the actual Nazis."

You would be referring to Diego Maradona of Argentina?  Did I miss something about Maradona?

I think the Jews in the Netherlands used to call Amsterdam Mokum, which would mean 'the place', but due to nazi garbage like adolf cohen jr the Jews are not save there anymore.

When Holland beat Brazilia, there were some brazilian supporters holding an Israeli flag.

As much as I hate to say it, the germans always do well in soccer. They always have a strong team and always go to the end. They are much stronger than spain.

The fact that many matches are played on Shabbat is enough a reason for Israelis to stay away from the World Cup.
Regarding anti-Semitism, some time ago Germany was rated as one of the least anti-Semite societies and the more supportive of Israel in Europe. I don't know if this has changed lately. Holland was traditionally pro-Jewish in history, but they had turned against Torah and Kashrut.

4-0 is called crushed. That is what germany did to argentinia.

I didn't gues. Both could have won and I just wanted to see an interesting match which it was. Both were just as strong.
The problem is that only insecure people overemphasize what they guessed right.

The Dutch have always been favorites of the Israelis. As for the Germans, they have been showing the most exciting football in the tournament until last night, when they were defeated by their (sportive) nemesis- Spain. You see, football fans want to see good, exciting football. Not everything is about politics. It's like some people here are fans of Boston Celtics, LA Lakers, or whatever. I don't think they identify too much with Kobe Bryant even as they enjoy his sportive talents.

Zelhar and Ron,   when in Israel a few weeks ago,    I noticed that the NBA  and basketball in general was popular.     I even saw the bus of a Haifa basketball team when visiting that city.

My question is  how popular is the NFL  (  American Football ),   Major League Baseball,   and the NHL  ( Hockey  )  in Israel?

These sports are hardly noticed by anyone other than American Israelis. Well maybe Hockey also have some following from Russian Jews cause its also very popular over there.

Zelhar,   thanks for your input.

While the LeBron James situation is dominating the news media outlets (  not just the sports media outlets)  in the United States,   the NFL is by far the most popular sports league in the U.S.      The TV ratings certainly reflect this.      I'm surprised that the NFL hasn't attracted more interest in Israel,    especially considering the high popularity of the NBA in Israel.

The thing is, Basketball is not only popular sport to watch, but also as an activity. Everybody understand the rules and knows what's it about. But American Football, and Baseball, look like an alien sport to Israelis. Nobody ever played it and we can't understand their rules.

When did Basketball start being played in Israel on a wide scale basis?

Related to what you mentioned regarding American Football and Baseball,    I just attempted to watch the World Cup Finals.    ABC/ ESPN used British announcers for the telecast.     From my perspective as someone who only knows the most basic aspects about Soccer,    it felt like I was a first year student of a foreign language being in an upper level classroom.

I think at least since the 1960s it has been hugely popular. When Maccabee Tel Aviv begun to participate in the European cups.
