Uhh, I don't get it.
He can get the police to vouch for him. Why wouldn't the people offering the job "believe him" unless he actually is not cleared by the police as having nothing to do with the sex crimes. If they cleared his name, he might get stopped with mistaken identity sometimes due to his name being used as an alias, but if he's actually innocent and not connected to the crimes with fingerprints dna etc, then the police know that too.

Someone stole his identity and because of that, that's the name on the registered sex offender registry, once your on the registry, you cannot get off.

But if he has not committed any crimes (ie, not his DNA and not his fingerprints, etc, ie the police know the alias was just an alias and not actually him), then he can also provide verification that he is not actually the criminal, right? I mean, even a letter written by the detective or something?
