I've written this before:  It's 1944, the United States just elected a guy named Hideki or Adolph, and he proposes building a Shinto shrine at Pearl Harbor or a some sort of shrine to Aryan supremacy in D.C .....

Allow me to channel Douglas MacArthur (however flawed a character, he knew the subject):  "A nation unwilling to achieve victory will soon be facing defeat."
