He was so anti-Bush and so anti-Iraq-war and so concerned with how it was hurting the economy that he spent more money on it. He simply continued the same Bush policy and the Republicans were also planning to eventually scale down combat presence after given security objectives were achieved (who knows what they were).

Not only that, but he has increased troops to Afghanistan, with all his concern for the economy. What a phony, lying fraud.

Now let's see the race between Saudi Arabia and Iran on Iraq getting to the next level.

took 25 years in iran, but that was a much more stable monarchy

id say 7-12 years

There's unquestionably this idea among the Obomaniacs, 'Iraq War bad and Afghanistan good'. And yet, there was something like a three-day period within the past several days in which 20+ soldiers were killed over there. Not even the Soviets at their worst could pacify Afghanistan. But I guess that it's acceptable to the Left if we expend blood when there's a Dem in the White House.

Or will we yet see Lyndon Baines Obama being born?
