I am thinking about this for while now. Forum members are having very little tolerance lately for difference of opinions. Maybe Serbian sections leads in that segment but other sub sections are not falling behind. What we can do to fix relationship among forum members and put to an end often insults, name calling and labeling forum members nazis?

Very good point. But we attract people who are strong willed and opinionated. I cannot think that there is a solution to this. As long as we understand that our differences of opinions are for the good. I dont want to impose my thinking on others, and I want to learn new things, so I just speak what I think and try my best to move past insults and provocations.
That is my opinion... You can flame me if you like...

I think tensions are running high because we all so badly want to effect change and it's frustrating that we can only do so much.... Not to mention people have their own problems in their personal lives outside of all that. It all just adds up, it seems.

Well some of it is blatant trolling. For instance we have an umemployed, lifeless pig who does absolutely nothing with his existence but create new proxy IP addresses to reregister at JTF and post his porn. Also we have a "member" here who tries to promote sodomy and calls people who disagree with it Nazis.

I've noticed that plenty.
Yes, I've noticed how some members insult each other over the smallest things.
You know what it is, some people don't realise they are talking to real persons on computers. They wouldn't be insulting each other if they were put together face-to-face.

I suspect that some people actually likes to exchange insults. Others sometimes just get carried away in the heat of the discussion.

I never argue with anyone here. It's simply of time and energy to 'argue' with anyone on any forum. Especially on a forum like this one.

I think it's just alot of young immature members of the forum. I would bet that most of these people who throw insults are either teen agres or in their early 20s. I don't think the forum used to be this way. I was on this forum since day 1.

I think it's people on this forum that disagree with one another and they get persional. Such as a post in the last couple days where we had Gay insulsts being thrown at loyal members because there wasn't a 100% agreement with each other. I am getting sick and tired of it. Also I think that the posts about the Linsady Lohan or Ememanim [censored] creates unneeded tension it has no place in a Jewish/Israel/American forum.

"Why forum members insult one another" is universal, as far as I can tell. This "insulting one another" is true of all forums (fora?) that I go to. That's why I believe it's probably universal. I believe that it's universal and that it has to occur because people are...well... people... and have strong opinions and strong disagreements with one another. And, as the old saw goes, "Give me two Jews and I'll give you three opinions." Just look at the contention between the Ultra Orthodox and the Secular Jews. Or the Conservatives and the Liberals. It never ends.

People need to remember that there's another real live person they're writing to here. I realize that's easier said than done when you're just sitting behind your computer.
Also, you guys need to consider how these insults look to potential members, or to other members who mainly lurk. We want people who agree with JTF to feel comfortable posting here. That won't happen if we don't keep things civil.

Some members consider them selves as privileged members and think that they are allowed to insult other members. Insulting people is a consequence of a bad personal character and lack of knowledge and arguments.

That could be the reason. But there are other reasons. For example, some members treat Islam as a legitimate religion, post Christian Replacement theology on a Jewish forum, favor the idea of "Palestinians" getting a state inside Israel etc. Should such members stay on JTF?
