MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) said over the weekend that the latest demand by the Vatican for Israel to withdraw from land “shows the true anti-semitic face of Christianity, which prefers to see us weak and in the furnaces. Our settlement of Judea and Samaria is a slap in the face to Christianity, and our return to our land shows up its lies.”

A meeting of Catholic clergy from the Middle East on Saturday demanded that Israel end is “occupation” of Arab land, and said that the church was “anxious about the unilateral initiatives that threaten its composition and risk to change its demographic balance. The Palestinian people will thus have an independent and sovereign homeland where they can live with dignity and security,” the clergy said in a statement.

It's amazing that he's unaware of that but in Israel the so-called Christians must be absolutely terrible to give such a horrible impression.
