An excavation in western India has led to the discovery of more than 700 ancient insects, arachnids and crustaceans, and many plant, floral and fungal remains.

That's really neat! One thing I love about amber fossils is that you get to see the whole animal, you get to see exactly what it looked like. Nobody can just call that a bunch of bones in the ground (even though insects don't have bones, lol).

They are trying to connect this finding with the theory that India separated from African continent much later than the time period being considered now.
