What is wrong with this picture?

Rangel is a schmuck who violated tons of ethical rules... He should be history by now... Why does anyone defend the actions of such a criminal?

Well, I was just thinking that McCain is certainly standing up against the Gays in the Military. Today he was in the news claiming the recent DOD study on the issue was biased. I personally think gays in the military is a very, very bad idea. I, for one, would not volunteer to be in an army which had openly gay people fighting alongside straight people.

Well, it seems that Rangel was censured in the House! Maybe justice can work?

House Votes Rare Censure of Rangel in Ethics Case

WASHINGTON — With his gaze steady and his hands clasped in front of him, Representative Charles B. Rangel  stood silently on the floor of House of Representatives on Thursday afternoon as the House speaker read a formal resolution of censure rebuking him for an assortment of ethics violations said to have brought discredit to Congress.

Despite impassioned last-minute pleas for mercy from Mr. Rangel and a half-dozen of his colleagues, the House voted 333-79 for censure, the sternest punishment it can administer short of expulsion.
