This past Wednesday Night, I had the privilege of attending the event at Leonard's of Great Neck in which long time Republican NY State Senator Frank Padavan ( he represented much of Northeast Queens ) was honored for decades of outstanding public service. Unfortunately, Frank Padavan, who was the only remaining Republican from Queens in the NY State Senate, was defeated in the November 2, 2010 election.
