Ever Since yesterday I have been getting this message everytime I navigate from page to page on the site... any suggestion on how this came about and how I can stop it?
'This website contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage'

I have the same problem.

I'm having the same problem too. It's really [censored] me off.
-
Me too.
-
Does anyone know exactly what the problem is? We've never had this problem before.

I'm calling Shlomo right away to find out why this is happening.

I get invalid security certificate, even on my cellphone.
I suggest people start internetting with a guestaccount.

I believe that this is a temporary situation related to our security updates. I don't know for sure because I have not yet reached Shlomo.
I apologize for the inconvenience.

I reached Shlomo. We're working on it.

Thanks Chaim!

Thank you, Chaim!

Wow this just happened to me
-
Finally. It's back to normal again.

I put it back. Please forgive me. I've been beefing up security on the forum.
Even though you got messages, your text was encrypted and it was actually more secure. There is nothing to be alarmed about.
Thank you for patience.

Hi Shlomo.
Here is a picture of the warning I was receiving from Firefox when I would click on the general discussion.

From my mobile phone, I got a message saying the certificate was not from a trusted authority

Thanks for fixing it Shlomo

Thanks Schlomo!!!!!!
You are the man!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you. The only reason it was like that for any amount of time is because it was Shabbat.
Yes, I know that dialog and it comes from your web browser. It doesn't say untrusted if you pay a large sum of money to Verisign for a "VeriSign Trustâ„¢ Seal". That message is just your browser telling you our security certificate for encryption isn't paid for by one of their accepted corporations. Please be aware that it is just as effective as any other SSL security certificate.
The benefit if you do use the secure HTTPS protocol when browsing (that means that in the main link on your address bar, it starts with https://), then all your messages are scrambled before being sent across the internet. It does make more messages from your browser so it's not as convenient. It's really a matter of personal choice, but it is there for those who would like to take advantage of that functionality.

Thanks for the info. Just so there are no misunderstandings, I was accessing the site motzi shabbat (after Shabbat had ended), certainly not on Shabbat, but I think you meant that it stayed that way for a short time after because you couldn't fix it on Shabbat itself.

The forum shuts down for shabbat on Friday at the required New York time each week and reopens on Saturday night...

Is there no such thing as a free security certificate ?
