Title: Pending referendum in South Sudan, will the south be able to secede ?

On January 9th a referendum is supposed to take place in which the south may chose Independence from muslim nazi Sudan.

But the muslim Nazi regime in Khartum already warns that if the south choses to secede then they would declare the referendum illegitimate which probably mean the annihilation war against the non-muslim south would soon be resumed.
