Does anybody know why the black guy "Ralph Nimmons" was beated in the first place?  How did this feud start? 

I've heard of this incident but I've never know the details... anybody has a clue?

Chaim mentioned this event in a recent Ask JTF program.

I figured his name would be spelled "Meir" instead of Mayer.

Yosef was the guy who sat next to Chaim right?  I think he's gone now.
