Although he was probably a competent IDF colonel and brigadier in his hayday, don't shed any tears for Galant's non-appointment to Chief of Staff, as he was the general in command of Sharon's dastardly Gaza Deportation of 10,000 Jews in 2005, which Galant carried out with remarkable efficiency, alacrity and unseemly glee

Though judging by this http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/leftists-petition-court-to-stymie-naveh-promotion-1.327519 he may turn out to be a tad better than Galant!

My friend's son says that Galant is one of the most honest and dedicated officers in the army. To say "piece of drek" about a person who has fought for  his country 34 yeas is shallow and unkind.

Ariel Sharon also fought for his country.

What we cannot forgive Galant for is his supervising, as Southern Command General at the time, of the dastardly 2005 Gush Katif Hitnatkut Deportation of 10,000 Jews, an act which has more than totally undone  any good service he may have done in 36 years!

Here an obsequieous Galant is receiving his Deportation orders from Sharon:

Let's pray that Naveh turns out a better stand-in Ramatkal, even if he's only in the job for 3 months!

Yair Naveh is an untermensch piece of rat sperm who broke skulls and ribs of Jews in the Amona pogrom chanting "you have clubs you know what to do with them!" and took part in murderously expelling the Jews from Gush Katif and Northern Samaria.

Give me a break, he is a career general who only thinks about himself. He is an Arik Sharon wannabe. And BTW if there are leftists traitors in the army and there are more than just a few, then I think they are in the wrong place.

Looks like Naveh won't get the top job, but instead another Israeli non-entity, General Benny Gantz, renowned for his incomptence during the 2006 war, and who said that "The Jewish settlers are as bad as Hizbollah!

That's because they made comments post from Facebook. They used to have their own system where they went though each one. I think the Arutz 7 website is run poorly. It has a ton of ads, some of which are not in accordance with Halacha because Google puts them up irrelevant ads. The ads make the website go very slow. They don't even send their daily news E-mails anymore. Even if you go to the radio section, the shows on demand don't even download. I think most of the people that made it what it used to be have moved on and run their own news sites and have shows on other stations.

This is a better radio site with the former Arutz 7 hosts we were all used to.

Their site has gotten almost as bad as jpost.com and haaretz.   Two completely unreadable websites.   They say Jews are so smart but why do they have such horrific websites then?
