Your home is no longer your own

As law-abiding citizens of these United States, we trust in the police to protect us and keep us safe. But a recent ruling in Indiana opens the flood gates to potential abuse of a person’s right to live as they chose within the walls of their own home. The saying that a ‘man’s home is his castle’ is true no longer. The ruling allows police in Indiana to enter a person’s home with no warrant, with no compelling reason for them to enter, and the home owner has no legal recourse to stop them. America, please pay attention, as the rights you take so much for granted are gradually being rescinded. Remember that Obama pledged to build a private army, a private police force, that would do his bidding. Hmmm….

“INDIANAPOLIS | Overturning a common law dating back to the English Magna Carta of 1215, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Hoosiers have no right to resist unlawful police entry into their homes.

In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer’s entry.

“We believe … a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence,” David said. “We also find that allowing resistance unnecessarily escalates the level of violence and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without preventing the arrest.” David said a person arrested following an unlawful entry by police still can be released on bail and has plenty of opportunities to protest the illegal entry through the court system.” source – NWI

On the one hand this is outrageous but on the other, most people whose homes would be "invaded" have something to hide.

Allowing the police blanket permission to search any property is dangerous. Once they outlaw thoughtcrime I am sure you will reconsider your position.

Imagine this scenario, you post something on JTF that the Obama administration doesn't like, and so they get the police to search your house, where they 'find' something illegal. How will you prove that it wasn't yours and that it was planted by them?
