Welcome to JTF.

How many Jews are there in Croatia today?  What's it like for Jews there?

Shalom and welcome to JTF.
You will notice that this is a very pro-Serb organization. Since you come from Croatia, what's your take on this ?

I noticed it is a very pro-Serb, yep. But I am Jewish not Serbian or Croatian. However I don't like Jews being a tennis ball in disputes between Serbs and Croats. I saw some of this behavior here as well.

As far as the number of the Jews in Croatia, we have 2 separate statistics - there are around 1200 members of various Jewish communities (and members can be those who have at least one Jewish grandparent) and in the census of 2001, there were little bit more than 600 Jews that claimed being Jewish by nationality and a bit more than 400 claimed to be Jewish by religion.

In ex Yugoslavia, similar is in Serbia, in Bosnia even less, and all the other states have each less than 100 Jews left, excluding Montenegro (well, maybe some Russian Jews settled in).

Absolutely. That is what matters. Good to have you with us.
