Probably so.  There are other biblical names in America, such as Bethlehem (Beit Lechem), Lebanon, PA (levanon in the bible)  etc.  I think there may be another Hebron somewhere else in the US if I'm not mistaken.

Btw, Palestine used to be populated by Jews. Since 1948, palestianians became arabs
