Strength works.
Obeying the old media and worshiping sultan obama does not work.

All santorum needs to say to newt is, "in return for your support, make me your vp".

It's either that or if newt wins the primaries, go with romney as the vp.

Romney has more of older peoples, whites and females in his support base.

That's the big unknown for any candidate. On the plus side, it seems Newt can rally most of the conservative base behind him. Unlike McCain of 2008, and unlike Romney of 2012.

This is still a great concern.  These primaries are making me nervous for sure.

We need to focus on the economy to win this election, and not on social issues and foreign policy. The fact is the American electorate no longer cares about those issues.

Newt's economic plan, which includes an optional flat tax plan sounds good, but he needs to talk about it more.

Don't get me wrong I have always had a warm spot for Newt as a politician however I always classified him as a moderate... If he gets the Republican nomination in my book he will be running as a right leaning moderate...My question today is when did Newt get the upgrade from RINO to conservative front runner? I know he is saying some nice words about issues that concern Israel as of late however this alone does not change a person from RINO to  conservative...

That's especially true when the transition is apparently happening on the campaign trail. Obviously he'd be better than Obama in many ways, but I don't think we can trust him to be more than a RINO when he's actually in office.

Newt is justified only if Santorum or someone else more righteous is not in a position to  move ahead.
