I think some of them are good pet owners but in general its chances will be better with another type of people.

I don't think most Mexicans are the kind of people that would do that though. One thing we have to remember is that in the USA we do get a sort of skewed view of them because most of the illegal immigrants are the lowest of the low class from Mexico. So of course they will be more criminally prone as a group than some others.
