They're calling it "One world" trade center.

Yes, that's what they are calling it... It seems China is one of the larger of the future tenants and they objected to it being called the Freedom Tower....

China has way too much power over the USA. Seriously scary.

It seems like there are plenty of leftists in the USA itself though that would want a name like that. You know how they all want open borders and talk about being "world citizens" and all that garbage.

What I find strange is that the workers in the article are speaking as if this is a patriotic tower, when in reality the whole "One world" concept is about as anti-patriotic as it can get.

Are you guys serious? It is not "One World" Trade Center. It is 1 World Trade Center. There's also a 2 and a 3 and a 4 World Trade Center. It's an address, for goodness sake. I think you're reading a bit too much into it.

I'm wondering why they happened to make that one the tallest building. Plus if you read the article that's how they are spelling it, not as an address but referring to it as if it were its name.

Also sometimes things like that can come up and they're meant to be subliminal, and someone like you could legitimately give an explanation for the name, but at the end of the day the tallest building in North America will still be called "One World" trade center, whether it's spelled that way or not.
