Geraldo doesn't have any reason to be against illegal aliens. He's got enough money to maintain a high standard of living, and it's not his people that are being displaced and marginalized.

I think what a lot of Americans don't understand is that a lot of countries would be about as different from the USA as going to outer space and that the people coming here from them have entirely different sets of beliefs and values.

They should be.  Geraldo can't prove to us that he'd react differently if he discovered people who had broken into his basement and begun living there with the excuse that they were "looking for a better life".
