In case their is a winner in this, (and I hope they completely destroy each other), who would you like to take over or stay in power? The current regime or the Sunnis?
-
I really don't care about what really goes on there but I'd really hate there to be a Sunni-ruled Syria.
-
question is, if bashar assad won, would he be stronger and therefore, Syria stronger?
Or if the rebels won, certainly they would anti-West. Would a new government set up by them, but unstable and allow the most notorious and dangerous terrorists thrive like in Yemen?
-
I kinda hope the good olll state department doesn't send more guns to the Syria rebels just like it did with Al-Quaeda. I hope the rebells devestate Syria destroy the country and Assads weapons and infrastructure. A win-win for humanity.
-
I would really like to hear Chaim's take on all of this.

Better to have Assad so Israel won't be pressured to make a so-called peace agreement and surrender The Golan Heights, Chas VeShalom.

Agreed. We don't want to surrender the Golan Heights.

Actually, I would prefer the dumber side to win. :::D

I prefer the less clever enemy. Perhaps if more dangerous, it will wake Israel up.

With what? Rockets? I just realized that at least Assad did not demand the Golan Heights back. He still does not recognize all of Israel but after loosing the war and the territory they shut up and are just waiting for the next war I guess, but who knows with the "rebels" and potentially if they take over the rockets they will launch, perhaps even starting to make Takiya and demanding the Golan from Israel. We can always count on the leftists to give it back though. The rockets from Aza did not help as of yett.
