The only gift that I want is an America free from the reign of Barack Hussein Osama. I want to wake up after election day in November and hear on the news that Mitt Romney is America's 45th president.
Normally I throw a small party every year, but this year I couldn't afford it. Not under this administration. I have to count every penny. Residents in Nassau and Suffolk County already know how high the foreclosure rate is!
I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but on every single issue of importance Barack Hussein Obama has been a disaster.
G-d forbid, if this demagogue gets elected to another term, we may see the creation of what has never existed - an independent country called "Palestine".
EDIT: As of the time I'm writing this it is now Wednesday, July 25th.

We don't want Obama to get a second term in office.

Happy Birthday!! I pray you get the gift your asking for... It may help with the larger picture however as far as for our problems here on Long Island nothing short of divine intervention will save the day... The larger problem here is the property tax... My mortgage payments have been over for many moons however my property tax over the years has become higher than the total of the original tax and mortgage payments combined... At tax time I feel no better than a tenant in my own home... I sometimes envy tenants who get to call the landlord when the heat or plumbing is on the fritz... Things will never be right here on Long Island until something is done to control the school taxes and runaway contract spending going on in the local school districts... I often wonder how people make it having to pay both the mortgage and todays property taxes... This is a big reason why almost every block has one or two unsold homes and real estate signs that are rusting through with no results.

I hope you had a really great birthday!

Happy birthday Mishmaat!

They think everyone in areas such as Long Island is rich.

Don't you mean 44th? If Obama was born in Kenya, he's not really President. Unless you can count a vacancy in the office in the count.
It's like when we pray the for the government in synagogue, we should add the words "the office of" before the president since we don't want to bless Obama.

our chief executive is the PM. i think you mean you want to see chaim as PM

Yeah, he probably meant Prime Minister. And Amen to that!

I hear you. It would be a significant relief if our tax problem was alleviated by local sensible politicians who really are committed to helping the middle class rather than paying us lip service.

Don't be sorry! I actually celebrated my birthday tonight.
My friends surprised me and took me out to a bar/restaurant. I'm slightly drunk so if my posts come off as incoherent I have a legit excuse. ;D
Thank you so much bullcat3!
And thank you muman613 and Brennanfan!
