Its sad but it seems to happen to almost everyone once they become important and want to be "respectable" but Dayan has turned on the most nationalistic of the "settlers" http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2012/08/dani-dayans-war-can-israeli-settlers-control-both-the-west-bank-and-themselves/260672/1/ (http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2012/08/dani-dayans-war-can-israeli-settlers-control-both-the-west-bank-and-themselves/260672/1/)

dayan works for the government, not for settlers. So whom did he sell out? The rabbis and leaders in the settler communities are negligent for convincing people otherwise and/or not understanding this basic fact.

This is no surprise, nothing new. Israel must change these ways and promote real leadership instead of the
Resha'im that keep influencing their fate!

He sold out 30 years ago. He is a professional yesha council functionary.

The guy who wrote the article is an extreme radical leftist.
I wouldn't believe anything he says.

I don't trust Danny Dayan for one split second.
I dont trust the author either. Look at this comment at the end, talks about the author of this article, Zvika Krieger.
Zvika Krieger is an extreme leftist who doesn't understand the murderous mentality of the Arabs.
Just google Palmediawatch to learn more.
Krieger longs for the days of Auschwitz, the Chmielnicki massacres, the pogroms of the Russian pale of settlement, the Farhoud of Bagdad in 1941, the Inquisition, and the murder of the Jews in Hebron in 29. He longs for Jewish victimization so he can feel good among European antisemites.
