Most black politicians use a "negro dialect" around black audiences but a more white sounding voice in front of mixed or white audiences. Since Obama wasn't raised by the black side of his family it's possible that it's the negro dialect that he's faking.

The shvartza president gets a great deal of mileage showing fellow blacks and the downtrodden that he's "down with the struggle" He's got the act down well from his days  in Detroit...

Black men generally have a strong voice so even if they speak proper English, you can stil tell by their voice that they are black. All other races aren't like that. Alan Keyes would be an example of a black man who speaks proper English without the Ebonics accent but still has a voice like a black man. When Orientals born in this country speak English, you can't tell their race by their voice.
