What are the positive and negative aspects of them?
-
Good question. It's a billion dollar industry and every time I read about them I become confused as to which ones I should be taking. One danger I know of is the industry is pretty much not regulated, so many times outrageous claims can be made without reall data to back it up.

Here's what I think about it. Americans have the most expensive urine of anyone out there because they take all these extra herbs, vitamines and supplements :D.

Vitamins are contained within fruit and vegetables, they are essential for your body. Supplements contain artificial versions of the same vitamins, they are really for people that don't want to eat fruit and vegetables.

The nutritional information of food products usually say that they contain some vitamins.
How does one know whether to take a vitamin or supplement in pill form?
Bones need Calcium and Vitamin D. So there's Vitamin D as a vitamin while calcium would be as a vitamin or supplement?
-
Calcium isn't a vitamin, though you can get supplements that contain it, the best source of calcium is milk, a glass of milk or a bowl of cereal with milk should give you the recommended daily amount of calcium.

I am taking N.O. Xplode and cell mass both by BNS and I was wondering if anyone else takes any of these products and sees any results. I feel stronger on them but I wonder if it is just a placebo or it actually is helping my body. Any recommendations on any good products for a hardcore gym goer like myself?

The N.O. Xplode stuff is said to work within minutes of taking it, i think it truly does work but you have to apply a lot of focus on working out. It fuels the body for intense training sessions, reduces lactic acid build up, enhances endurance and stamina, and saturates the muscle with nutrients for growth.
I don't think using any supplements is good as many can be rather superficial.
If a person eats normally, exercises and steps out into day light, vitamin tablets shouldn't be needed.

I've already got a six-pack ......i'm kidding, i just looked up the N.O Xplode on google, to see how it is possible. Man made warriors could be created through these chemicals.
I'm all for keeping healthy and i never want to drive a car in my life.

"I'm all for keeping healthy and i never want to drive a car in my life."
With the price of peyrol in GB I'm not surprised.
PS: If mulim women all took up body-building they might be able to overthrow the animals who dominate their society.

Many are the loyal onlookers and encouragers for the "animals". Cooking and cleaning in returned gratitude for their sweet "beasts" when they come home from a day of "hard" taqqiya ridden work.
I'd rather muslim women would get a job, then they'd be exposed to a few truths.
I actually enjoy public transport and watching all the different characters in London fuss over their belongings, phones and gadgets as such.
I saw a chinese man today who had hair down to his waist and tight trousers high up. Sometimes i end up laughing to myself and then have to look up and pretend i've read a funny advertisment.

I've worked with muslim males. The very idea of their wives working, meeting people and developing fills them with sheer revolt and terror.

Thats terrible but hey, i blame the weak wives as well. They need to speak for themselves if they truly want freedom. The shock may even startle the husbands into agreeing.

If they are living in the West, they should speak English or the countries native tongue.

(If they are living in the West, they should speak English or the countries native tongue. )
Yes, but their husbands don't want them to speak english.
The adds for women's support groups should be in the language of vulnerable ethnic women too.

There are a lot of translated ads in libraries and centres here but they are mostly focused on asian minorities and are in Hindi, Urdu, gujrati, punjabi etc

Back to the topic...So tell me about supplements and if they're important to take.

If you eat your fruit and veg and have a decent intake of milk (or sme other calcum source) you shouldn't need supplements.

How much is necessary? What do you eat?
-
General health advice suggests that 5 portions of fruit ad veg a day is a good target, and I think about 1/2 a pint of milk, I don't consider my own diet to be healthy, I'm giving advice here that I don't follow myself, I take in loads of milk, but only 2 to 3 portions of fruit and veg a day.

Whats the difference between a multivitamin and a supplement?
I'm not sure what to make of either. Sometimes studies say positive things about them and then there are studies that claim otherwise.
-
A multivitamin is a type of supplement.

A multivitamin is a type of supplement.
Since different studies contradict each other, how do you know if multivitamins would be good to take?

The healthiest way of living doesn't require supplements at all, they make up for poor diets. A multivitamin can compensate to some extent for a lack of fruit and vegetables, but isn't as good as just eatinbg a wide variety of fruit and veg.
