Don't agree about the hurricane and why (and I have a hard time believing everytime someone claims because of X then Y happened) but interesting that he says the correct things about Israel and it acting as a puppy of the U.S.A.
Also making decisions on its own for its own interests. Including bombing Gazza and including bombing Iran which he says Israel should have done a long time ago already.
(Also never-mind the anti-religious bias of the reporter, but that's besides the point).

you can say in general things are a punishment, but I personally stay away from saying things happened because of XYZ especially when we dont have it in prophecy.

This is true.... Unless one says 'in my opinion X happened because of Y' we cannot really say what motivates Hashem to act in the way he does. This is one of the great mysteries which the story of Job explores...
