May the blood of this young hero be avenged.

Scientific journals should be publicly available for all to see.

It is not a hero-ly thing to commit suicide. If he did no wrong he should have stood up for what is right. Not being familiar with the case I cannot say decisively. But if he was involved with stealing information from the rightful owners, then he should be held accountable. We do live in a world of rules, and those who violate those rules need to be held to justice.

The owners wanted the charges dropped and then made all of the documents in question available for free online. Is it fair that this kid and Jonathan Pollard faced a greater sentence than most serial killers?

Especially if their research is funded by taxpayer dollars, which most of it is.

We should wait to hear evidence before coming to judgments.

Is it possible the suicide was set-up? My question again, why hero?
I don't think it's right to commit suicide but I think he probably did it because his life was going to be ruined.

If you were familiar with Reddit, you wouldn't be praising this so-called "hero".

It doesn't matter what he stands for. He attacked an evil establishment. Did you ever hear Chaim's views on Wikileaks?

I also think that there should be free public access to public research. These scientific magazines are nothing but parasitical establishments.
