New Yesha Council Chief: Danny Dayan

(IsraelNN.com) Danny Dayan of Maaleh Shomron in Samaria is the new Chairman of the Yesha Council, a body which claims to lead the residents of the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

Dayan was chosen for the job by the Yesha Council Plenum which met in Ariel. He replaced Bentzi Lieberman, Chairman of the Shomron Regional Council.

Sarah Eliash was chosen as Deputy Chairperson of the Yesha Council.
