Post by: Binyamin Yisrael on August 22, 2013, 10:39:26 PM: How is the law banning Shariah for Muslims? It's just banning it from becoming the law of the State of Oklahoma. They didn't say Muslims can't practice their religious laws. They just said the state can't base its laws on those of Islam.

Lehavdil, it would be like if someone said Halacha can't be used in a Secular court for the laws of a Gentile country is equal to banning Jews from practicing Halacha.

Do you think they'll start arresting people that wait until after seven or even eight (!) years old to do a little genital mutilation? And don't worry, all your friendly muslim neighbors won't be kidnapping and doing that. It'll just be the "extremists" doing it to your daughters, and your friendly muslim neighbors will only fund them because they're scared.
