As you all know, my uncle was schedualed for his valve replacement and triple bypass on Monday. He had the surgery, I didn't go to the hospital on Monday cause the surgery was for 5 hours plus the anastetics would of kept him foggy. Anyways, the doctor called me in the evening and said the surgery went well, no complications, they had to give him blood transfussion to rebuild the blood he lost during surgery and smothered him with blankets on his body for warmth to regain his body heat. I went to see him the first time today.
I have to admit, when I went in the room he was sitting up but I took a step back cause the site at first was hard to sink in to see him with tubes going in and out of his body and large set of stitches down his chest cavity and neck. So the beginning was a shocker but the most important he made it.
When he is ready to come home I will have him stay by me, I volunteered, he won't be able to drive for atleast 2 months till the stitches are out and he heals up. So I will be the designated driver for him. And he won't be able to manuver well unless with assistance like to the bathroom or bathing. So I will do what I can. I wanted to hire a home care nurse to help but problem with that, they send to people affirmative action nurses. And I am not having that in my house let alone for his care.
Between him and my mother (who is at that age in her 60s that the health isn't what it use to be) my place is becoming a hospital as well.
But thank God. And I thank you all very much when I was going through all this. May God Bless you all.

I hope everything takes a turn for the best Anthony. Lets pray that these illnesses only affect Muslims, shvartzas and other pieces of drek.

Great news Masterwolf. And it's so good of you to care for your uncle! Most people would leave it to some affirmative action nurses while just going about their own lives.

That's great news! I'm glad to hear your father is feeling better. I remember when my father had surgery for cancer, it took him about six months to a year to recover.

Thanks guys and Lisa, I saw him today he was sitting up. I do need to find some care taker the hours I am not home atleast for the next 2 months, I do work and can't really afford to stay 24 hours. I asked Chaim this week about that on who do I look for? Most of these creatures that call themselves nurses are really savages that got out of their cages.
